1. Data we collect
We may process account details such as name, email, phone, company name, Android Relay/device and app-reported SIM data, secured access identifiers, operational logs, IP and session data, and support records. To operate messaging, we also process recipient numbers, message content, and delivery states to the extent needed for delivery and diagnostics.
2. How we use data
We use data to create accounts, operate Android Relay, route messages to the customer device, manage queueing, retries, webhooks, support, security, abuse prevention, service improvements, subscriptions, and billing.
3. Message data
SMS Relay processes recipient numbers, message content, and processing states because this is necessary for API, queue, delivery, and logging functions. The customer is responsible for having the lawful basis and required consent to process and send this data.
4. Payment data
We may receive order or payment identifiers, transaction status, amount, currency, and payment-method information. SMS Relay does not need to store full payment-card numbers or CVV codes.
5. Cookies and local storage
We use necessary cookies or similar storage for login, session protection, language, and interface preferences. Analytics may be used according to site configuration to understand performance. Where applicable, non-essential storage can be controlled through your browser settings.
6. Service providers and disclosure
We may share the minimum necessary data with hosting, infrastructure, email, payment, or technical service providers that help operate the platform, or where required by law. Service providers are not authorized by us to use the data for unrelated independent purposes.
7. Data retention
We retain data for as long as needed to operate the service, meet accounting, security, and legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Retention periods vary by record type, and records may be deleted or anonymized when there is no longer a legitimate need to keep them.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including access controls, session management, encryption in transit, and audit mechanisms. No electronic system is entirely risk-free, so controls are reviewed and incidents are addressed when discovered.
9. Your rights and choices
You may request access, correction, deletion, or objection to certain processing where applicable law grants those rights, subject to records we must retain for legal or security reasons. Requests can be sent to the contact email below.
10. Children
The service is intended for businesses and developers and is not directed to children. We do not intentionally target the collection of personal data from minors.
11. Updates and contact
We may update this policy when practices or legal requirements change. The last-updated date is published on this page. For privacy requests, use the contact details below.
